The Father of Invention

I just found this funny, especially since it really is true, but no one wants to admit it. How many inventions were made because it would be faster or easier than something else?
I had never really thought of it this way before, but it is most definitely true. The lazier we get, the more "time-saving" devices we have. And the more "recreational electrionics" we have, and more advanced, too! You can live a whole life staring at a screen, and not have to step outside at all, ever!
Now if only someone would invent a robot to do my homework, then everything would be perfect. =)
