Poetry - What is Truth?
Everyone wants you to say it, but no one wants to hear it.
It's an honor to be called truthful, but the truthless seem to gain more.
Truth is highly valued, but cheaply traded.
It's hardly stated and highly doubted.
It's hard to use and difficult to maintain.
It's easier to abandon, harder to regain.
It is both respected and rejected, treasured and trashed.
Undervalued and undernourished, yet always determined to cling to what fragile hold it can reach.
