Life is but a shard of time
A chance to live
A chance to dream
A chance to give
The best you can

That's all you have
For them to see
For them to know
For you to be
To make your life your own

Who asks for more
Will ask in vain
Will add with glee
Demand's dark stain
Of stress upon your life

Who lives their life
Not asks for more
But tries to live
Is living for
The future of their dreams

For nothing done
Was ever worth
The extra stress
That gave it birth
Unless the goal was thus

So live your dreams
And do your best
And trust to God
To lead the rest
And you can travel far
